Mission Statement
"In the spirit of St. Peter, the patron saint of our parish, we commit ourselves to being the Body of Christ to all. The special emphasis of our Mission is “The Sacrificial Giving” of Time, Talent and Treasure. We trust that the Holy Spirit will empower us to grow Spiritually through Worship and Religious Education and also help us go in, with and through Jesus to eternal Life, with God our Father."

Longing For the Holy: Spirituality for Everyday Life: Longing for the Holy is ideal for all who want to enrich their sense of presence of God. It concerns the way we channel the deep longing at the core of our beings and addresses the implications of the central mysteries of the Catholic faith for spirituality: the Trinity, the Incarnation, the Eucharist, and the Paschal Mystery. Acknowledging the cultural challenges that keep us from realizing our true desire, readers explore important themes of Church community, justice, the practices of the spiritual life, and being a mystic of the everyday.
Small community groups meet in the informal setting of members' homes with a trained leader. Meetings include fellowship, reading, reflection, praying, and sharing with one another their individual experiences in relation to the lesson no more than the individual is comfortable in doing.
Meetings are scheduled 4 week increments and last approximately two hours. Light refreshments are determined by the members in the small community.
Members will be provided with a participant's book and occasional handouts with the opportunity to read and reflect on the upcoming lesson to enable a deeper participation and enrichment on the evening of the meeting.
