About Catholic Parish Renewal
This weekend retreat is led by Pastor Msgr. Morgan Rowsome and support teams of volunteers and organizations who provide meals and hospitality throughout the weekend. Catholic Parish Renewal provides an opportunity to renew your faith along with other parishioners and to experience a deep sense of community and belonging. The retreat is open to all adults over 18 years of age. In particular, the Parish Renewal Experience focuses on the premise that we as Catholics are called to belong to a community of faith, not simply to an individual relationship with God. This requires conversion, healing, and reconciliation within the community, since our love for one another is the sacramental sign of the Church. It should lead in turn to a deeper commitment within the parish to take the Good News of love into the lives of those around us. In other words, the aim of the Parish Renewal Experience is to renew and revitalize the parish so that it may take up the challenge of evangelization in the world today.

About Small Christian Communities
Today while many churches are intentionally creating larger congregations or mega-churches, St. Peter, Prince of the Apostles Parish has chosen to foster the involvement of its members in Small Christian Communities, reminiscent of the early Church. A Small Christian Community is a group of people who come together in the most basic and personal unit of the parish. The Community gathers in the available homes of its members, who discuss their lives in the light of the gospel and share their Christian faith through prayer and conversation. Within such gatherings there naturally arises a connection of acceptance and support through which the members learn, in a personal manner, the meaning of being a Church. A Small Christian Community can encourage and enable you to ground your life in the Christian story and express faith in your everyday life.
