Prayer to Jesus for Our Sick and Ill Friends
Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the sick, we turn to You in time of illness. O dearest comforter of the troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with Your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, we place our worries in Your hands. We place our sick under Your care and humbly ask that You restore Your servant to health again. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge Your Holy Will and know that whatsoever You do, You do for the love of us. Amen.
Prayer for a Happy Death
Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, I give you my heart and my soul. Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, assist me in my last agony. Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, may I breathe forth my soul in peace with you. Amen.
Prayer for the Souls in Purgatory
My God, pour forth Your blessings and Your mercies upon all persons and upon all souls in purgatory for whom, by reason of charity, gratitude, or friendship, I am bound or desire to pray.
Eternal rest grant unto them O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace. Amen.
O Lord, all powerful God, I beg You, by the Precious Blood, which Your Divine Son Jesus shed in the Garden, deliver the souls in purgatory and especially that one which is the most forsaken of all, and bring it into Your glory, where it may praise and bless You forever. Amen.
My God, I offer You all the Masses which are being celebrated today throughout the whole world, for sinners who are in their agony and who are to die this day. May the Precious Blood of Jesus, their Redeemer obtain mercy for them.
Prayer for Souls in Purgatory
O God, Creator and Redeemer of all the faithful, grant to the souls of your servants departed full remission of all their sins, that, through the help of devout supplications, they may obtain the pardon of which they have always been desirous. Who livest and reignest, world without end. Amen.
